Getting Started

Do I have to be in shape before I join?

Not at all. Most of our members started because they wanted to get healthier, stronger, or move with less pain. We meet you where you are and build from there.

I'm over 50. Is this gym for me?

Yes! Many of our members are over 50. We focus on improving strength, balance, mobility, and everyday function—not just lifting heavy weights.

I've never been to a gym before. Will I fit in?

Absolutely. Training Kamp Station is a private personal training studio with a welcoming, judgment-free environment. Beginners are always welcome.

Can I try it before I sign up?

Yes. We offer a free first group class so you can experience the atmosphere and see if it's a good fit.

How do I know which class is right for me?

We'll help you choose based on your goals, fitness level, age, and any injuries or health concerns.

Personal Training

What happens during my first personal training session?

We'll talk about your goals, health history, and movement limitations, and create a plan designed specifically for you.

Do you create workouts just for me?

Yes. Every personal training program is customized to your needs, abilities, and goals.

How often should I work with a trainer?

That depends on your goals. Some people come once a week for accountability, while others train several times a week for faster progress.

Can you help me lose weight?

Yes. We combine strength training, cardio, accountability, and lifestyle coaching to help you lose weight in a healthy, sustainable way.

Can you help me build muscle?

Absolutely. Whether you're new to strength training or experienced, we can design a program to safely increase strength and muscle.

Injuries & Health Conditions

Can I work out if I have arthritis?

Yes. Kent is certified in Arthritis Exercise instruction and can modify exercises to help improve strength and mobility while minimizing joint discomfort.

What if I have bad knees or back pain?

Many of our clients come to us with joint pain or previous injuries. We'll modify exercises to work within your abilities and help you move more comfortably.

Is personal training safe after an injury?

In many cases, yes. We'll work within your doctor's recommendations and progress at a pace that's appropriate for your recovery.

Do you work with people who have physical limitations?

Yes. We specialize in adapting exercises for different abilities so everyone can improve their fitness safely.

Group Classes

Are your classes hard?

Our classes are challenging but adaptable. Every exercise can be modified for beginners or those with injuries.

Will everyone be watching me?

No. Our small group setting is supportive, and everyone is focused on their own workout.

What should I bring to class?

Comfortable workout clothes, athletic shoes, and a water bottle. We provide the encouragement.

How many people are in a class?

Our classes are intentionally kept small so you receive more personal attention.
